ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed the 10+2 (Senior Secondary) examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects. The qualifying examination must be completed before the date of admission and should be from a recognised board.
Minimum Marks Requirement
The candidate must have obtained the minimum aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as prescribed by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine and NEET regulations. Relaxation in qualifying marks for reserved categories shall be applicable as per government norms.
NEET Qualification
Qualifying the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency is mandatory for admission to the BAMS programme.
Age Criteria
The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit as per current regulatory guidelines.
Counselling and Admission Process
Admission shall be through centralized counselling conducted by the competent authority. Seat allotment will be based on NEET UG merit, reservation norms and availability of seats.
